Simone Rambotti

Sociology PhD

I am a quantitative social scientist interested in health and well-being based in Seattle, WA. I earned a PhD from the School of Sociology at the University of Arizona.

In my research, I use a broad variety of quantitative methods, often from a comparative perspective. I published my work in top-tier journals, such as the Journal of Health and Social Behavior, Social Science & Medicine, and Socius.

I guest co-edited a special issue of Sociological Perspectives on COVID-19 and society.

I worked with the Louisiana COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force as chair of the COVID-19 Data and Analysis subcommittee. Our report is available at the Southern University System. This project shows the most striking result of this work and provides an important update.
